All about Speed
Challenge
The 24 Hour Film Race is an event where filmmakers receive a prompt, a theme, and a prop, and then have 24 hours to create a short film incorporating all three elements. After the deadline, the films are judged and ranked. The challenge was to attract filmmakers and generate interest in the event.
Goal
For this poster, I aimed to capture the intense speed of the competition while incorporating key elements of filmmaking. My goal was to visually represent the urgency and energy of the event while highlighting the core aspect of film.
Solution
I thought it would be intriguing to design a poster inspired by the 24 Hour Le Mans style for the film race. After exploring several concepts, I found one sketch that effectively captured a dynamic sense of speed. This design seamlessly combines elements of speed and intensity while prominently featuring the central theme of film.
